The Guitar Build Workshop immerses customers in the art of guitar building. During a full-day workshop their staff will teach you everything you need to know about the process, then walk you through the hands-on experience of sanding, staining, building, and setting up your own guitar. It is a fun and relaxed class for anyone of all skill levels, even non-guitarists. I’ve been there myself and I highly recommend it!

The Nashville area thrives on tourism and the Guitar Build Workshop is no different. They had seen some initial success by placing brochures in tourist locations around town, but after a few years they decided it was time to refresh their materials to generate even more interest.

The workshop is designed to be fun for all ages and skill levels, but a guitar building class can sound intimidating even for a seasoned guitarist. So our first challenge was to make the workshop feel open and welcome to everyone.

We started by focusing on photos of actual customers having fun. No staged photo shoots. No models. Just real people having a blast. Next we crafted messaging that reflects the casual and approachable nature of the workshop. Finally, we stylized the brochure to reflect the rustic Nashville vibe in order to attract visitors in the area. Ultimately we landed on a piece that portrays the workshop as a Nashville destination for everyone!
