ToughGuard High Performance Coatings is committed to providing customers around the globe with eco-friendly products that are the “best of the best” in surface protection. Their products protect high-value assets such as aircraft, yachts, shipping vessels, and RVs from harsh environmental elements such as UV rays, chemicals, pollution, acid rain, bird droppings, bugs, tree sap and more.

FortsStudios recently teamed up with ToughGuard in a long-term initiative to help bring their products into the automotive dealership market. This was a unique experience where my role was not just one of graphic designer, but as Creative Director for the entire project. As the creative lead I was responsible for advising the team on branding decisions and providing direction for all marketing materials. I also helped plan and implement our attendance at the SEMA automotive trade show in Las Vegas two years in a row, where I was responsible for analyzing the competition and interacting with customers in the booth.

Shown here is the trade show booth that we developed for the SEMA show. Our design was successful in attracting attention and bringing potential customers into the booth. Also shown are two samples of the informational handouts that we developed for the show. Our branding was consistent across the board and we worked hard to craft impactful messaging.
