Tennessee Electric Company is an independent custom guitar builder based in Nashville, TN. At Tennessee Electric, every instrument begins with collaboration. They fuse modern tech with reclaimed and historic materials to craft singular, story-rich instruments. Each build reflects their commitment to tone, playability, and design, while maintaining the unique character that defines every Tennessee Electric guitar.

Tennessee Electric contacted Forts Studios in need of a hangtag design for their custom instruments. We worked together to develop a tag that reflects Tennessee Electric’s branding, as well as their signature blend of modern design and historic materials. 

A product hangtag may sound like a simple thing but it can make a big difference. In addition to providing valuable branding space and product information, a quality hangtag can subconsiously reinforce a product’s quality and credibility. Guitar hangtags go one step further because they feature details such as a serial number and manufacturing date. These tags are often kept with a guitar forever, transferred from owner to owner as official product documentation.
