Packaging Insert Design

As Erica began to grow her business, she asked Forts Studios to develop a packing insert to include with her jewelry. The primary goal was to create something that would help to explain each of the seven major chakras, as well as provide an overview on setting intentions while wearing her jewelry. The insert also needed to have a high visual appeal, since it would be the first thing a customer sees when opening the box.

We worked together to craft a multi-panel insert that would be folded down into a square to fit inside the box, sitting on top of the jewelry. For the design we decided to place each chakra in it’s own panel with a short description, a corresponding icon, and the color that is associated with that individual chakra. We incorporated some of Erica’s existing lifestyle photography for visual appeal, and we relied heavily on the font from her logo for branding continuity. The end result is an insert that not only helps to explain the product, but also adds a polished look and perceived value.
